Hello! I’m Ellie Franks, the founder and lead groomer at The Hair of the Hound. With many years of professional grooming experience and a Level 3 OCN qualification in Dog Grooming, I’ve dedicated my career to making dogs look and feel their absolute best.

After running one of London’s top grooming salons, I knew it was time to create something special—a grooming salon where quality, care, and comfort come first. That’s why I started The Hair of the Hound, a place where your dog’s well-being is just as important as their stylish new look.

When I’m not in the salon, you’ll often find me at dog shows, particularly with my beloved bloodhounds. This dedication to canine care extends beyond grooming—it’s about understanding dogs, their unique personalities, and what makes them feel at ease.
